UXTender 1.3 - UXTheme Service Patcher for XP SP3

To rename the uxtheme.uxtender, do I rename the file with uxtheme."dll"? I was thinking of the same thing; I need to replace this file. Thanks for the advice, damian, I'll see if I can do that around 3:00 or 4:00 pm CST, after I finish school. (I live in Oklahoma, USA.)

yes, its a dll, so tahts what you do ...
just for that starnge stuff i rename it, instaed of deleting it.

it cant hurt to keep a backup

Wow, that was easy. I replaced the uxtheme file with the backup, and now my computer boots as it should. You're a really great help, damian! I should've known I'd be screwed without a backup file. But, now I know better. Besides, I find that a soft bed and a warm meal beats my computer any day. (Look at what Hurricane Ike did in Galveston. ) Your latest version is 1.2, right? I will give that a try again after a few days, when I'm confident my computer is functioning properly. : ]

Hey...i found this...and here it says that it works with SP1,SP2, SP3 and Windows Server 2003. So...what is the difference?!
